2 Timothy 3:1-17

· People today have a form of godliness and yet they act otherwise. Churches are full of people and yet corruption is prevalent in the country.

· If you keep hopping from one church to another, you will be kidnapped by the enemy. Do you have a local church?

· Acts 13: 44-52 - What happened to Paul at Antioch. Acts 14 - Paul was equipped for his call. So much happened to him but he wasn’t swayed by the circumstances.

When you decide to live as a Christian you will be hated. We are at war and we must be equipped. It is the word of God that we need.

The second most important experience of a Christian after being born again is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You cannot be a fulfilled Christian without the divine grace of God. In developed countries, religion continues to thrive because the Spirit of God quickens the word of God in the hearts of the people.

Being fully equipped is not just a man-made ideology but God’s.

Acts 2:4 - Baptism of the Holy Spirit is very important. If we are to be fully equipped, we have to fall in love with Jesus and we also need the Holy Spirit.

The impact that the church is making on the world is because of the Holy Spirit. We are going to pass on our faith to the next generation only by the Holy Spirit. God is building His kingdom and He is an amazing God.

What you need to be fully equipped.

1. You need a deep hunger / yearning for God.

2. You need to pray

3. Bible study; make the word part of your life

4. Obedience
